Firepool leaded SnowClan and DawnClan to the battlefield.
Arrowstar walked side-by-side with Cloudstar. They whispered to each other as they watched Firepool.
Suddenly, Cloudstar picked up a scent. "RainClan and LeafClan are here!" he shouted to his warriors. "Clans! Attack!" he yowled.
Firepool turned around and ran for Hawkwing. A big mistake. A huge mistake. A fatal mistake.
Hawkwing pounced onto Firepool and pinned her on the ground. "Wrong choice in battle!" he hissed. He opened his large mouth and clamped down on the LeafClan warrior's throat.

Magmaflow darted over to where firepool lay on the ground. "NO!" she shouted at the top of her lungs, and lunged at hawkwing, pinning him to the ground, and scratching his face, leaving bloody gashes.

"Firepool!!!!!" Featherwhisper screeched, right before Arrowstar hurtled into her.
The world was beautiful, and the trees were as tall as a building. Lush green leaves grew everywhere on the trees, and the ground grew wildflowers. Where am I? Firepool thought.
"Come, young warrior," a sweet voice said. Firepool followed the voice until she saw a fading star. "I am here to guide you to your new home," it said. Firepool gasped. "No! I can't join you yet!" she meowed. The star turned into a glowing cat. "Yes, it is time. StarClan has known that it is time for a while," the starry cat said.
Firepool's heart pounded in her chest as she followed the StarClan warrior..
"One down, a lot more to go!" Hawkwing spat.

"no!!!!!" magmaflow yowled as she watched her warrior friend join starclan, "i need a medicine cat!" she lunged at hawkwing, raking her claws down his side, then chomping down on his neck, until she felt it crack, and he went limp.

Hawkwing spat at the RainClan warrior. "Die!!" he yowled. He slashed at her stomach, missing by centimeters. He clawed at her face.
Featherwhisper escaped from Arrowstar's grasp. She ran over to her friend, now not breathing and laying bloody on the grass. "NOOOOO!!!!" she yowled.

Sleekpaw went into the bushes away from the firece battle. She slowed her breathing. Then appreared in a clearing. "Stop!" she yowled, "Firepool isn't going anywhere!" she clawed the soft ground.

Sleekpaw padded up to face the starclan warrior. "No, not yet. Your not going to drag her away." she sank her claws in the ground "Please no, unless, you want to go," she murmured to Firepool.

"Ahh...young RainClan friend. Firepool has to go. If we were to let her go back, she would die from her injuries; painfully. Right now, we are giving her a chance to die without pain. You must understand this," the warrior said.
"I would love to go back, but I have to stay here now," Firepool said. She sighed. "I would have loved to become leader though..." she said.
"Go back to the battle now, young cat," the StarClan warrior said. "I will take care of Firepool..."

She looked crastfallen. She would have broken down, and die with her friend. "Okay... I'll never forget you Firepool." she tured tail and went through the bushes. Back into battle.

Featherwhisper licked her cold, lifeless friend and turned back to the battle. She ran towards Cloudstar and tackled him.
Cloudstar's breath was knocked out of him as he was thrown to the ground. LeafClan's finest warrior (in his eyes) had tackled him to the ground and was now clawing at his belly. He quickly threw her off and ran away to battle someone else.
"Just because I'm different doesn't mean I can't fight!" she yowled after the leader had fled.

Twilightpaw turned to Firepool's lifeless body. "NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she yowled, reaching her beloved mentor. "WHO DID THIS?" she screeched angrily.
